The 2nd Year LIOS Leadership and Organizational Development students invite you to Marketplace on Saturday, March 9th from 12-1:30 pm at the SouthCenter Double Tree Hotel, Tukwila, WA. Come shop with us!
What is Marketplace?
Marketplace is a learning and business simulation designed by the 2nd year Leadership and Organizational Development MA students at LIOS/Saybrook University. Marketplace is a learning container for LIOS graduate students designed to help them practice and assess their leadership and group membership skills in a fast-paced, fun, entrepreneurial learning environment. It is modeled after power lab. Students will create real products and services to sell that relate to the company mission.
What are you selling at Marketplace?
We don’t know yet! As part of this simulation the Leadership and Organizational Development students have formed a benefit corporation, The Gnosis Project. The staff of The Gnosis Project will be challenged to produce and sell products and services for the Marketplace in less than 24hrs. As a benefit corporation, we are beholden to a triple bottom line. All our products/services will be designed taking into account responsible profit, environmental sustainability and the health and well-being of our employees and the community at large. We will seek to balance sustainability and profit as we develop products and services that help people in coaching, counseling, and consulting professions thrive.
- Spend $25 and be entered into a raffle drawing!
- Spend $50 and have your name and company listed on our website as a Gnosis Project Supporter!
- Cash and checks only please
- A large portion of our profits will be given to a social benefit cause!
We hope you are able to join us in our learning adventure and support our company!
